ABOUT THE FOUNDER:
God has blessed me with my husband Thaxton L. Taylor who stands by me and supports the work of God. We are blessed to have three children, all who are married, and seven grandchildren.
My call into the ministry was at a young age, but it was not until 1992 that I finally said, "YES LORD". That response was the driving force that caused me to do what was necessary to fulfill that commitment. April 2009, I completed and received my Biblical Counseling with Black African American Christian Counselor (BAACC) Certification; April 2008 American Association of Christian Counseling(AACC) Certification; October 2002, Doctor of Ministry from Friends University, June 1996, a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Friends University, in 1994 I received and completed my Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Shaw University. Finally, I received a diploma of completion from RHEMA Bible College.
As the Pastor of Greater Emmanuel, God has given a mandated mission and vision that will be executed to enhance the whole being. Through this time in ministry, I now know that unless God builds the house, our labor is in vain. Currently, we have various outreach programs in the community such as Best Foods Ministry, Crown of Jewels Prison Ministry, and our Power From Heaven Television Ministry on WXLV ABC 45 that reaches the Piedmont Triad Region and surrounding counties, as a venue to spread the Word of God. Finally, I would like to add, that we are not limited to this. God is expanding everyday in every way. Because we know,” For with God, Nothing shall be Impossible.”
